What do I need to run it?
A Windows PC that already runs Assetto Corsa, on your home network. If your rig races today, it's ready.
Do I need special hardware?
No. Any tablet or phone on your Wi-Fi becomes the cockpit screen, and any TV with a browser shows the board. The Felony plan ships an 8" cockpit tablet pre-configured with a rig mount (US), but Warning and Ticket run great on what you already have.
Do my friends need to install anything?
No. Guests scan a QR code and the leaderboard opens in their phone browser. Only the sim PC runs AFTERLAP.
What exactly is free?
Solo Mode forever, with no account and no card. Create a free account and you also get 5 full party nights: your own tracks and cars, up to 3 drivers, the live TV board and all. The TV shows our watermark during those nights, and nothing is saved once a night ends. A night only burns a credit when it actually runs, so a failed launch never costs you one.
How many drivers can join?
The free nights run up to 3 drivers. Every paid plan is unlimited, from Warning at $9 up. Nobody pays to race with a smaller crew.
Does it work with my mods and tracks?
Yes. AFTERLAP scans the content installed on your PC (original and modded) and shows it with preview images. Your library is the menu.
Do I need internet during the party?
Not during the party. Party and Solo run entirely on your local network. The app just does a quick online license check-in every few days.
Can someone cheat by cutting the track?
No. The leaderboard only accepts valid laps, straight from the sim's own validity flag. Cut the grass, lose the lap.
Is my network safe?
The system never opens ports or accepts connections from the internet. It only makes outbound HTTPS calls for licensing.
